Is your fantasy team still alive? My team is hanging on by a string.   Week 13 is the final week of the regular season for many fantasy leagues. Whether your fighting in your year long league, or dabbling in daily. Knowing the injury implications that shape the final weeks can be critical. Each week I discuss the top 5 injury situations that open up value on a slate. For a full game by game analysis follow this link for the Week 13 Coach and Cole Show

Jameis Winston QB (5400 DK 7300 FD) Jameis is finally healed from his shoulder injury that has kept him out the past 3 weeks. When Jameis was healthy this offense was clicking. Games of 384, 332, and 328 with 3 tds. I’m throwing out the couple of bad games, where I know his arm was bothering him.  This week he gets thee absolute perfect spot. The Green Bay Packers have been getting lit up in the secondary. CB Kevin King is the only thing in their secondary worth talking about and he is out again. Others that could miss are LB Clay Matthews, DT Kenny Clark and LB Nick Perry. Tampa’s running game will be without RB Doug Martin, so I expect WR Mike Evans, WR Desean Jackson, and both tight ends OJ Howard and Cameron Brate to have solid days in the passing game.

Dede Westbrook WR (3600 DK 4700 FD) A future star out of Oklahoma with 4.34 40 speed.  The Jaguars have been bringing him along slowly, however last week he was up to 70% of the snap count and had 10 targets. WR Allen Hurns has already been ruled out. With no Hurns more and more targets keep coming his way. If the Colts can find a way to score, Blake Bortles will look to Dede even more and eventually hes gonna break a long one.

Kenyan Drake RB (4900 DK 5800 FD) Another player way to cheap for his situation. RB Damian Williams is out, making Kenyan Drake the work horse. At first glance you wouldn’t necessarily pick on the Denver Broncos. The Broncos of the past few weeks have been bad. CB Aqib Talib will miss because of suspension. So even WR Devante Parker and Jay Cutler could be decent plays. Two more big losses for the Broncos defensive line are DT Domata Peko and DE Derek Wolfe.  This will open Drake up for a nice day on the ground. Drake also has the catch passing abilities we want in our backs.

Adam Thielan WR (7500 DK 8000 FD) This dude has been balling all year. It wont stop this week vs the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta’s secondary will be without CB Desmond Trufant. QB Case Keenum is legit and found TE Kyle Rudolph for 2 touchdowns last week.  Kyle Rudolph and WR Stefon Diggs are decent plays again, but this week its Thielan’s turn for the big game.  I can see him being peppered all game and finding the end zone. 8 catches for 100 yards and a td will come with ease.

Johnny Holton WR (3400 DK 4500 FD) WR Amari Cooper is Out, WR Michael Crabtree suspended. That leaves a very big opportunity for others. As of Thursday Cordelle “I can only run Go-Routes” Patterson is questionable. WR Seth Roberts will have a tough match-up in the slot with CB Dominque Rodges-Cromartie. Last week I gave out WR Jaron Brown minimum salary and 1% ownership. This week if you need a cheap punt play, take a shot on Johnny Holton. On the season he as 4 catches for 161 yards and 2 tds. Last week he was in on 68% of the snaps and caught his 2 targets for 53 yards. He is fast, and in a sweet situation.
