By week 11 most fantasy teams, and NFL teams, have seen their fair share of injuries.  Some of those injuries provide a clear path to victory. For those of us playing both daily and year long fantasy its crunch time.  Knowing the injury news and its fantasy implications are key.  This week I had the pleasure of returning to the Coach and Cole Show and discuss the 5 injury implications that would shape week 11.  You can listen to my full analysis and the entire show here..

Week 11 Coach and Cole Show

Zach Ertz TE (8000 FD) Its never hard to recommend Ertz, but this week I like him for a different reason. The Cowboys Defense will be without Sean Lee. Each game this season Sean Lee has missed, or left early, has resulted in the cowboys giving up massive points. Last season with no Lee, Ertz went nuts with 13 catches, 139 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Add in the troubles for Dallas, with no Ezekiel Ellliot or LT Tyron Smith.  Dak Prescott will be forced to pass more, pushing this game tempo even faster.  On FanDuel’s slate with Travis Kelce and Rob Gronkrowski, both good plays, Ertz is my top play. On DraftKings don’t get too cute, play one of the other big 2, because Ertz is in the Sunday night game.

Alvin Kamara RB (7500 DK 7500 FD) The Redskins have been better versus the run. But after losing Mason Foster they took a hit. Now they lose linebacker Will Compton, which will opens things up even more. Mark Ingram has been a good play every week. However, his price has crept above 8K, and he doesn’t catch the ball. 1 catch last week on 1 target. Michael Thomas will draw Josh Norman coverage.  I’ll take my chances with Kamara to bring in a few extra catches and score at least 1 touchdown.

Chris Thompson RB (5400 DK 6800 FD)  Another pass catching back that has a very nice situation. Rob Kelley is out, Terrell Pryor is out. Jordan Reed had another setback, this time with his hamstring, and he is out. Samaje Perini, will be involved, but not nearly as much as Thompson. Game script also should lead Thompson  to some extra catches.

Jameis Crowder WR (4300 DK 5400 FD)  Another beneficiary of the short handed Redskins situation is Jameis Crowder. He also gets a match-up versus Saints without their solid slot covering safety Kenny Vaccarro. I would expect Jameis to do some real work underneath. His catches alone will cover his cost, but I think he slips into the end zone at least once.

Bruce Ellligton WR (3000 DK 4600 FD)  My favorite cheap play of the week is Bruce Ellington. Wil Fuller is out, and Arizona’s secondary other than Patrick Peterson is bad. Hopkins will see a lot of Peterson, possibly the best corner in football.  I expect Blaine Gabbert and Larry Fitzgerald to have some success. Houston, should be able to score right along with them.  Arizona’s secondary will be without corner back Tyvon Branch, providing Bruce with the possibility of a big day. Bruce has shown improvement each week in this offense, Savage will find him. You will find him and all of these plays on my lineup this week.
